How it works
"Thin-client" computing is so-named because the client (your desktop PC) does almost no work: all the software that you use is installed on a server, and runs there, while your desktop PC just shows the screen image and sends keystrokes and mouse movements back to the server.
Citrix Presentation Server is a thin-client server product developed by the pioneer in this field and used by the majority of corporate thin-client deployments world-wide. We use it to improve the resilience and performance of our hosted service.
