2. Desktop Live +

Desktop Live + is designed for companies:

  • with no hardware at all; or
  • looking to have a complete hardware refresh

 Managed Networks provides you with:

  • thin client machines with screens
  • mice and keyboards
  • one colour laser printer each for 5 separate users
  • a suitable broadband connection for your main office
  • 5Gb of data storage per user
  • 1Gb of email storage per user

 Your users each get their own Windows desktop and access to the following applications:

  • Microsoft Word 2007
  • Microsoft Excel 2007
  • Microsoft PowerPoint 2007
  • Microsoft Outlook 2007
  • PDF Reader

Additional applications
Managed Networks recognises that companies use additional software and we are happy to provide this to our clients. Any other Microsoft products can be added to the above options for a simple monthly fee. Examples include:

  • Microsoft Access
  • Microsoft Publisher
  • Microsoft Project
  • Microsoft Visio

Some non-Microsoft products can be added, such as Adobe Acrobat Professional.

Dedicated Servers
Managed Networks is happy to provide or host dedicated servers within our hosting environment for a simple monthly fee:

  • Any server hosted by Managed Networks will be proactively monitored and rigorously checked in the same way as it would be if installed at a client's own premises.
  • Our checking system ensures the server continues to operate at optimum efficiency.
  • If you do not yet have a server, we can easily supply and install the server and software for you.
