MASECO Private Wealth

1. Background
MASECO Private Wealth is an independent wealth management company specialising in developing and implementing tax efficient wealth management strategies for individuals and families, primarily US tax payers.

2. Problem
MASECO approached Managed Networks because, as a result of rapid growth, they required more support that their existing service provider could deliver. At the same time the firm decided to adopt a hosted server solution that would enable them an offsite demand control and would improve their network efficiency. They wanted one supplier to provide these services to minimise the amount of interaction they would have to make with external service providers.

3. Solution
Managed Networks provided MASECO with servers system hosted outside of their network that were utilised to manage their CRM and investment management systems. Microsoft’s Virtual Hyper-v cluster technology was deployed.

4. Benefit
MASECO was able reduce the business continuity risk by having external servers in secure locations allowing the business to continue to operate when local services fail. Instead of buying additional servers, Maseco is renting the space from Managed Networks and this is hosted on our virtual network.
