Consultant Engineer

Reporting to: Chief Technical Officer
Salary: £35-40k base dependent on experience and ability. 
Bonus: Up to 10% bonus + commission + overtime + on-call allowance + other benefits. Central London base, extensive travel in London & home counties, some national travel. 

Requirements
Current, verified MCITP Enterprise Administrator + Citrix CCA required to join our Consultant Engineering team. VMWare VCP or Cisco CCNA desirable. ITIL foundation an advantage.

Experience in design, implementation and support of Windows infrastructure including clustering, Hyper-V, Exchange and SQL Server. Good routing and WAN skills and Cisco ASA configuration experience. Citrix exposure essential, certification a strong advantage; similarly for VMWare. Experience of Dell Blade Centres and Equalogic SANs also an advantage.

Organised and disciplined, with confident customer-facing skills, the candidate will have team-leadership experience and the appetite to build both their own skills and those of their team. Strong written English is essential, as is the ability to express technical concepts clearly and concisely.

The role includes:

• Pre-sales engineering support including solution design
• Project delivery – solution implementation and team lead
• Key account service management
• On-site proactive maintenance of complex environments
• Third-line escalation from Service Desk
• On-site trouble-shooting
• Liaison with supplier technical support
